Have been meaning to do a trip report but have not done so yet. We then spent 2 nights on Deer Isle, 2 nights on Isle au Haut (a real treat), and finished up with 2 nights in Camden. This caused some congestion in the park as well due to the number of tour busses. Some days there were as many as 3 ships in the harbor. Found Bar Harbor to be very, very busy during the day with day trippers from the cruise ships. We spent 2 nights in Portland, then drove stratight to Mt Desert and Acadia. The drive to Ogunquit felt about the same time. We drive to Cape Cod every summer so did our usual thing which is to drive 8 hours to Syracuse and stay there, then drive the 6 hours out to the Cape. I think it is about 14 hours to our first stop which was Ogunquit where we spent 1 night (had dinner with a friend who lives nearby).
